- Trekking & Excursions: Nearby attractions like Wilson Dam, Umbrella Falls, Randha Falls, Ratangad Fort, and Kalsubai Peak (Maharashtra’s highest peak) offer opportunities for trekking and sightseeing. These generally require separate arrangements or local transport which might incur additional costs.
- Firefly Watching (Seasonal): During May and June (pre-monsoon), you might experience the magical spectacle of fireflies, often organized as a special guided activity by some camps.

Schedule of Campsite (Typical Overnight Plan)
- Day 1:
- 04:00 PM: Arrive at the campsite and check-in. Settle into your allotted tents.
- 05:00 PM: Enjoy welcome evening snacks and hot tea/coffee.
- 05:30 PM – 07:00 PM: Free time for sunset viewing, photography, lakeside strolls, and outdoor games.
- 08:00 PM – 09:00 PM: Barbecue starters served with music.
- 09:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Delicious buffet dinner (Veg/Non-Veg options).
- 10:30 PM onwards: Campfire, music, and group activities. Stargazing.
- (Optional, if available/booked): Open-air movie screening or firefly watching (seasonal).
- Day 2:
- 07:00 AM: Wake-up call, freshen up.
- 08:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Breakfast and morning tea.
- 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Leisure time, last-minute photos, or optional boating/swimming.
- 11:00 AM: Check-out from the campsite, carrying beautiful memories.
Meal Plan of Campsite
- Evening Snacks: Typically Tea/Coffee with local snacks like Pakodas or Poha.
- Barbecue (Limited): Veg and Non-Veg options (e.g., Paneer/Veg BBQ, Chicken BBQ).
- Dinner (Unlimited): A wholesome buffet-style meal with local Maharashtrian cuisine. Usually includes Dal, Rice, Chapati, a Veg main dish, and a Non-Veg main dish (Chicken Curry). Salad is often included.
- Breakfast: Poha or Upma with Tea/Coffee.

How to Reach?
Bhandardara is well-connected by road and accessible by rail from major cities in Maharashtra.

By Road:
- From Mumbai (approx. 165 km, 3.5-4 hours): Take NH3 (Mumbai-Nashik Highway) towards Igatpuri, then turn right at Ghoti towards Pimpalgaon and then Bhandardara.
- From Pune (approx. 170 km, 4.5-5 hours): Take NH50 and then SH21 via Narayangaon, Ozar, Kotul, Rajur to Shendi (Bhandardara).
- From Nashik (approx. 75 km): Take a bus to Ghoti, then another bus or sharing cab to Shendi.
- Self-drive: This is often the most convenient option, as you can drive directly to the campsite (GPS location will be shared upon booking). Ample parking is usually available.

- Nearest Railway Station: Kasara (approx. 60 km) or Igatpuri (approx. 45 km).
- From Mumbai/Pune: Take a local train to Kasara. From Kasara, you can hire private cabs or shared jeeps to reach Bhandardara village or directly to the campsite. The journey from Kasara to Bhandardara by shared cab usually involves a couple of changes (e.g., Kasara to Warangushi Phata, then another cab to the campsite).
- From Nashik: Take a train to Ghoti or Igatpuri, then proceed by road.
